Alabama got a glimpse of their future as Bryce Young throws his first career touchdown pass.

The Alabama Crimson Tide are in no hurry to push current quarterback Mac Jones out of the door as he continues a Heisman-worthy campaign. However, while Jones continues to pad his 2021 NFL Draft resume, fans in Tuscaloosa get a glimpse of their future as Bryce Young threw for his first career touchdown.

Up big on the Kentucky Wildcats, head coach Nick Saban turned the keys over to Young in order to get the true freshman and former top dual-threat recruit in the nation some playing time. On a third-and-goal, Young put his dual-threat ability on display, escaping pressure and delivering a strike into the endzone.

Bryce Young already generating buzz for Alabama football fans

With Jones likely off to the NFL after the season he has had for the Crimson Tide, fans will not have to wait long for Young to take over full-time. While it is Jones in the Heisman conversation this season, it could very well be Young on his way to the Big Apple as a finalist for the award in 2021 should he live up to the hype of a top recruit in the nation.

He already has the diehard fans in Tuscaloosa buzzing with what he could bring to the program after the departure of Jones.

It has not taken long for many to see the potential Young has and to get excited about the star he will likely blossom into with the Crimson Tide.

As anxiety builds to get Young on the field, Young continues to bring the heat in the mop-up duty he gets for the Crimson Tide. Hang back just a bit now, Alabama fans, and enjoy the ride Jones is bringing in 2020.
