Real Madrid face Liverpool at Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium on Tuesday, April 6. Here’s all the info you need to watch this Champions League match.

The Champions League quarterfinal kicks off on Tuesday with Real Madrid and Liverpool facing off in Madrid. The two clubs meet for the first time since the 2018 Champions League final, which Real Madrid won 3-1 after Mohamed Salah was forced off with a shoulder injury in the 31st minute. Real are looking to advance to their first semifinal since 2018 and ninth time since 2011. Meanwhile, the Reds are looking to advance to their third semifinal in the past five years.

Real Madrid defeated Atalanta 4-1 over two legs to advance to the quarterfinal. Manager Zinedine Zidane’s team are undefeated since the beginning of February. However, the club will have to overcome the loss of captain Sergio Ramos to injury. Ramos remains one of the top center-backs in Europe and will be a large void for Madrid. Real will rely on their midfield to control the game and dictate the pace to Liverpool. Meanwhile, Karim Benzema is having another great season. The French striker has scored 24 goals in all competitions.

Liverpool defeated RB Leipzig 2-0 in both legs, which were played in Budapest. While Real are unbeaten since the start of February, the Reds have been a disaster over that time frame. In the Premier League, Liverpool have lost six of their last nine games. The Reds are in danger of missing the top four, sitting two points behind fourth-place Chelsea. The biggest reason that Liverpool has declined this season is the numerous injuries the club has suffered at center-back. The Reds have been forced to use more than 20 different combinations at center-back. Manager Jurgen Klopp will lean on his front three to outscore any mistakes at the back. Salah and Sadio Mane have combined for 38 goals in all competitions. Klopp will have to decide between starting Diogo Joto and Roberto Firmino, who have combined for 18 goals.
