Justin Turned killed an order of nachos, no, not with his mouth, rather with a home run.

Justin Turner had nacho ordinary night for the Dodgers.

The Dodgers infielder his a home run that resulted in a case of exploding nachos.

Turner’s home run ball was caught by a fan in the left-centerfield bleachers who had an order of nachos that got in the way of the ball. What resulted was a very cheesy situation and a story he’ll be able to tell his friends for the rest of his life.

Rarely does a home run get trumped by the fan catching the ball, but that’s certainly the case here and I can’t help but weep for the lost plate of nachos, truly one of the best ballpark food items there is.

A Dodger dog would have been much easier to clean up unless it was doused in mustard and stuff, but having a hoodie covered in nacho cheese is a stain that’s never coming out.

Turner, a true humanitarian, went into the clubhouse to ask for an order of nachos to be sent to the fan who had his meal ruined. This is another example of Turner being a man of the people and for the people. He should get MVP votes on his nacho policy alone.

Catching a home run ball is worth it even if it comes with a ruined hoody covered in nacho cheese stains. He still got a replacement order of nachos, he got to enjoy some 15 minutes of fame and he got the souvenir to boot. Truly a win-win-win for this Dodgers fan.

On a night where we saw a no-hitter from White Sox pitcher Carlos Rodon, the case of the exploding nachos may have bumped it to the second-best story out of MLB on Wednesday night.
