Ohio State football players and coaches got their rings for winning the Big Ten and Sugar Bowl and it is exceptionally beautiful bling.

The Ohio State football season ended with a loss in the National Championship Game to Alabama but there was plenty to celebrate in one of the most memorable and unorthodox seasons in Buckeyes history.

What began with a season that was initially postponed until the spring due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic later shifted to a later start that opened in late October.

And once it began, there were ongoing hurdles and COVID-19 cancelations that threatened to keep the Buckeyes out of the Big Ten Championship Game and College Football Playoff.

Thankfully, for Ohio State football fans, the Big Ten altered their rules to keep Ohio State eligible for the Big Ten Championship Game with five games where they defeated Northwestern.

That undefeated season was good enough to make the College Football Playoff, even if Clemson coach Dabo Swinney didn’t think they were a top-10 team. Swinney found out the hard way in the Sugar Bowl that Ryan Day’s team was the truth when Justin Fields lit the Tigers up to the tune of six touchdowns despite leaving his ribs on the turf.
