Ronald Acuña Jr. continued to prove his dominance Wednesday night with a walk-off blast for the Braves.

The Atlanta Braves are looking to climb back up above the .500 mark after a slow start to the season. Luckily, the team has Ronald Acuña Jr. on its side.

The young star provided plenty of theatrics Wednesday night agains the New York Mets and the finishing touch was a walk-off blast to send the hometown fans home happy.

Ronald Acuña Jr. calls game against the Mets

The best part about this has to be his reaction. During a week when unwritten rules are in the news because of Tony La Russa, Acuña soaked in the moment. And good for him.

The Braves bullpen struggles mightily yet again on Wednesday night. Dansby Swanson nearly cost them the game. Yet, Acuña played the role of hero, as he has so many times this season, with a no-doubter.

Acuña went full Vince Carter for his celebration, with a classic ‘it’s over’ hand motion.

La Russa would’ve had a heart attack.

With the win, the Braves are now just three games back of the NL East-leading Mets, ending what would’ve been a pessimistic series at home. Instead, Atlanta walks things off to end it.
