The Florida Panthers are trying to force a Game 7 against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The defending Stanley Cup champions are hoping to avoid a first-round embarrassment by closing out the Florida Panthers tonight. But the Tampa Bay Lightning have already endured more than we all thought they’d have to with the Panthers and are on the brink of being forced into a Game 7 situation.
It’s been two years since Tampa Bay was swept out of the playoffs by Columbus, and they responded by winning the Stanley Cup a year later. The Eastern Conference bracket is a little wonky this year thanks the shortened-season realignment that was required to make a season happen within the restrictions COVID-19 created, but if they can’t take care of business in Game they will be on the brink of getting bounced before any of the bracket juggling can occur.
NHL Playoffs: How to watch Panthers vs. Lightning live stream
There are three games on Wednesday night — all with potential Game 7s on the line — which means this game is going to be pushed off one of the top-tier NBC channels. None of the games are on NBC proper, but NBCSN will have a back-to-back games featuring the Penguins-Islanders and Wild-Golden Knights. That means the Lightning-Panthers Game 6 action will start at 8pm ET on CNBC.
The good news is you can stream CNBC on Fubo. The bad news is that costs money, but the good news pokes its head back into the room by way of a seven-day trial that means you can legit watch the game for free on a legal stream.
Should you need other means, the game can be watched via the NHL streams subreddit community.
