Gervonta Davis and Mario Barrios both made weight ahead of their Saturday, June 26 super lightweight title contest on Showtime pay-per-view.

We have a fight on Saturday, June 26, between super lightweights Gervonta Davis and Mario Barrios as both boxers made weight and will meet at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA.

Thankfully, there were no surprises during Friday’s weigh-in. Davis (24-0, 23 KOs) is a super featherweight and lightweight titleholder, but he’s moving up another division to challenge Barrios for his WBA “regular” super lightweight title.

Davis took out the lighter Leo Santa Cruz by impressive knockout in his last bout, but Barrios is a much bigger opponent. At 5-foot-10, Barrios enjoys a 5-inch height advantage over Davis. He also has the longer reach, but Davis is a skilled southpaw with tremendous power. But will it carry up to super lightweight? That’s the question everybody is asking.

All of the fighters on the Showtime pay-per-view undercard made weight as well. Super welterweights Erickson Lubin and Jeison Rosario looked ripped during their faceoff. Rosario talked and mildly taunter Lubin, but Lubin showed no reaction.

A shoving match broke out between super welterweights Carlos Adames and Alexis Salazar, but it ended quickly. Adames vs. Alexis Salazar is a replacement bout for Julian Williams vs. Brian Mendoza after Williams pulled out due to injury canceling that matchup. Here are the weights for the boxers on the Davis vs. Barrios pay-per-view card.
