Belgium play Portugal on Sunday in a do-or-die Round of 16 match between two of the strongest teams at Euro 2020. Here’s what to know before you watch.

Expect lots of goals when Belgium and Portugal, two offensive-minded sides, meet on Sunday at La Cartuja Stadium in Seville in the Round of 16.

Belgium are the No. 1-ranked team in the world by FIFA and a pre-tournament favorite to capture their first international title. Portugal, meanwhile, are looking to repeat as European champions after capturing the title in 2016.

Belgium are spearheaded by Romelu Lukaku. The Inter Milan striker, who has three goals so far in this tournament, faces against Portugal and Juventus scoring machine Cristiano Ronaldo, who leads the tournament with five. The players know each other well after facing off against one another in Serie A.

This is a match that could go either way. Both are having a strong tournament, although Belgium are undefeated at these Euros. Portugal, however, found a way to advance out of Group F, the tournament’s “Group of Death after having to tangle with France and Germany.

Belgium has the toughest road of most teams. Should they defeat Portugal, the Red Devils would face the winner of the Italy-Austria game.
