England and Denmark square off in the second semifinal matchup on Wednesday at London’s Wembley Stadium. Here’s what you need to know before tuning in.

England hope to take advantage of their great form and home-field advantage on Wednesday when they face Denmark in the second semifinal at Euro 2020.

The Three Lions have dazzled at this tournament and hope to replicate that success at Wembley Stadium come Wednesday, while the Danes have put together a magical run of their own following the rollercoaster of emotions after their star player Christian Eriksen fell ill during their first match against Finland.

England have excelled thanks to the scoring prowess of Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane. Defensively, they have been the best team at these Euros after conceding no goals in five matches.

“It’s fabulous for our country: a semifinal at Wembley,” England manager Gareth Southgate told the BBC following their 4-0 win against Ukraine on Saturday in the quarterfinals. “Everyone can really look forward to that. It’s brilliant. I know what will be happening at home. It’s lovely to see everyone on a Saturday night, beer in hand. They should enjoy it. It’s been a long year for everyone.”

Denmark, however, are coming off Saturday’s 2-1 quarterfinal victory versus the Czech Republic. While the Danes are the tournament underdogs, their strength comes in playing as a collective following Eriksen’s absence. England should not underestimate the fairytale ride the Danes have embarked on over the past three weeks.
