While eating one hot dog can take 36 minutes off of a person’s lifespan, that person can gain 26 minutes by eating a serving of nuts, per the study.

This year, Chestnut won his 14th hot dog eating title by devouring 76 hot dogs in 10 minutes, which broke his previous world record. As a result of that win, Chestnut currently holds more championships than Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady combined.

Now with this latest study, viewers of the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest are going to be more concerned than ever, especially with Chestnut on the stage.
