Dallas Cowboys rookie defensive lineman Osa Odighizuwa said that Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady isn’t too mobile.

The Dallas Cowboys are looking forward to the 2021 season, considering how they missed out on the playoffs last year. But, they are not in an enviable position, as they face off against the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the season-opening game. The last thing the Cowboys need to do is give quarterback and seven-time Lombardi Trophy holder Tom Brady bulletin board material.

Cowboys rookie defensive lineman Osa Odighizuwa was asked by the media on Thursday what Brady’s weakness is. Odighizuwa responded by saying that Brady is not too mobile.

Dallas Cowboys rookie says Tom Brady isn’t too mobile

To be fair, Odighizuwa did have the evidence to back up his claim. He said that once you get Brady “off the spot, his passer rating goes down by a lot,” hence his belief why the play of defensive tackles is going to be important for the big Week 1 game. Odighizuwa later said that he feels Brady “is not too worried about what [he’s] saying.”

Brady not being mobile is far from a shocking revelation. As for the Buccaneers quarterback not worrying about what Odighizuwa is saying is another story. Brady has been known to use quotes from media members and players to motivate him. Just look at this video he posted on social media after the Buccaneers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 55.

The Buccaneers showed they are hellbent on running it back this season, as they brought back their entire team this offseason. Their first step in repeating comes in Week 1, and they will look to make an example out of “America’s Team.”

Whatever the case may be, Odighizuwa and the Cowboys appear to have a plan to combat Brady.
