Former Michigan State running back Le’Veon Bell was ecstatic following the Michigan State pulled off an overtime victory over Nebraska on Saturday.

The Michigan State Spartans are on fire through the first month of the 2021 college football season. They entered Saturday night looking to improve to 4-0 on the year against a 2-2 Nebraska Cornhuskers team, but things wouldn’t be as easy as some might have thought.

Nebraska dragged Michigan State to overtime — or, more accurately, the Spartans needed to come back in the fourth quarter to keep their hot start to the season from icing over before October arrived.

Mel Tucker’s crew pulled off the win in overtime after picking off Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez, setting up the 21-yard field goal by Matt Coghlin. Perhaps no one was more hyped about the Spartans victory than former Spartans running back and current Baltimore Raven Le’Veon Bell.
