In a showdown with the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday night, slugger Joc Pederson was spotted rocking pearls while at the plate.

The Atlanta Braves are about to clinch the NL East title and they sure are doing so in style. Just ask slugger Joc Pederson about that. Pederson made quite the fashion statement on Wednesday in a showdown against the Philadelphia Phillies.

In the middle of an at-bat, Pederson stole the show when he was spotted wearing a pearl necklace. We’re not making that up folks. Pederson upped his game in the necklace department and no one saw it coming.

Joc Pederson wearing a pearl necklace during a game is priceless

After spending the first seven years of his career with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Pederson made his way to the Chicago Cubs for the 2021 campaign. However, in July ahead of the MLB trade deadline, Chicago sent him to Atlanta.

Since making his way to the NL East, Pederson is hitting .250 for the Braves, smashing six homers and adding 20 RBI. With things being a bit of a mess for the Cubs this year, Pederson has to be fired up that he’s about to not only win a division title, but Atlanta is also looking like it’s ready to make serious noise in the postseason.

With a win on Thursday, Atlanta will lock in that NL East crown. It’s something that fans are hoping happens, and things would of course be made sweeter if Pederson were to leave the yard with a monster dinger in the process.

Will he end up wearing his pearl necklace again either for an at-bat or the team celebrations? We can’t wait to find out.
