Gardner Minshew

The Broncos should absolutely give the Philadelphia Eagles a call about Gardner Minshew. The Eagles have shown thus far that they are not going to be a contender in the NFC, let alone a contender in the East division. With a plethora of capital entering next year’s NFL Draft, it would make sense for the team to trade some of their players for more picks.

Minshew spent the first two seasons of his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars, who selected him in the sixth-round of the NFL Draft. In that span, Minshew threw for 5,530 yards, 37 touchdowns and 11 interceptions on a 62.9 completion percentage.

It is unlikely that Minshew will see any playing time with the Eagles, as he is positioned behind Jalen Hurts and Joe Flacco on the depth chart. Minshew has shown promising stuff during his time with the Jaguars, and could be an answer for the Browns if Mayfield were to be knocked out for a large duration of this season.
