Texas A&M message boards were ready to pack head coach Jimbo Fisher’s bags for LSU after the Aggies’ loss to Ole Miss.

The Texas A&M Aggies have gone a four-game winning streak, which began with a huge 41-38 upset over the Alabama Crimson Tide. On Saturday, Jimbo Fisher’s No. 11-ranked team in the nation took on the No. 15 Ole Miss Rebels.

Unfortunately for the Aggies, their winning streak ended at the hands of the Rebels by the score of 29-19. With their third loss of the season logged, some on Texas A&M’s message boards were all ready to pack Fisher’s bags to take the LSU head coaching job.

Texas A&M loses to Ole Miss, angering message boards

Texas A&M was unable to put any points on the board in the first half. That was not a problem for Ole Miss, as they scored 15 points on two field goals, a touchdown pass by Matt Corral and a safety. While the Aggies did pull within 15-13 at the start of the fourth quarter, the Rebels pulled away following a Snoop Conner rushing touchdown and a pick-six thrown by Zach Calzada.

Ole Miss put up 504 total yards of offense against Texas A&M. 257 of those yards came on the ground, with Jerrion Ealy accounting for 152 of them on 24 carries. As for Corral, he completed 24-of-42 pass attempts for 247 yards and one touchdown.

Running back Devone Achane scored two touchdowns for the Aggies, while picking up 110 yards on 12 carries.

With this loss, Fisher is now 33-13 as head coach at Texas A&M. Still that is not enough for some fans on the message boards, who want to see him join another SEC school after this loss to Ole Miss.
