Ohio State wide receiver Chris Olave expressed how much the Buckeyes hate their rivals — the Michigan Wolverines.

The Ohio State Buckeyes have shown that they do, indeed, belong in the College Football Playoff. Their biggest test came on Saturday against the Michigan State Spartans, and the Buckeyes knocked the doors off the hinges, as they too, the 56-7 “W.” Now, the Buckeyes have one more game remaining on the schedule — the Michigan Wolverines.

Ohio State vs. Michigan is known as “The Game.” But how much do the Buckeyes hate the Wolverines? Well, wide receiver Chris Olave said, via Sports Illustrated’s Ross Dellenger, it’s daily hatred.

The rivalry is real, folks. When it comes to these two teams head-to-head, Michigan holds the advantage, as they have 58 wins all-time against the Buckeyes, who have 51. But, it is Ohio State who has had the better of Michigan recently, as they have won the past eight games.

Olave faced off against Michigan twice in his collegiate career. In 2018, the wideout caught two passes, both of which were touchdowns, for 48 yards in Ohio State’s 62-39 win. Olave caught two passes for 68 yards and one touchdown in 2019 in the 56-27 victory.

The senior will look to have a similar performance next week as he did against Michigan State, where he hauled in seven passes for 140 yards and two touchdowns.

Ohio State has the Playoff in their sights, and a win over Michigan can essentially clinch it.
