Brett McMurphy of the Action Network projects that the Miami Hurricanes will make a bowl game, and face off against a Pac-12 team.

The Miami Hurricanes earned their seventh win of the season in rivalry week, as they blew out the Duke Blue Devils 47-10. Now, the Hurricanes play the waiting game to see where they will play their final game of the season.

Brett McMurphy of the Action Network gave his bowl game projections ahead of Week 13 of the college football season. McMurphy placed Miami in the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl against the Oregon State Beavers of the Pac-12.

The Hurricanes initially got off to a bad start to the 2021 season, where they sat with a 2-4 record after their first six games of the year. Now, they have won five of their last six meetings, including back-to-back wins against AP Top 25 teams in North Carolina State and Pittsburgh.

Oregon State hold a 7-4 record entering their rivalry week game against the No. 11 Oregon Ducks. They are on a two-game winning streak after defeating the Stanford Cardinal and Arizona State Sun Devils.

If McMurphy’s projections turn out to be true, then the Hurricanes and Beavers will be heading to El Paso, TX for the New Year’s Eve game. As is the case every year, keep your eyes peeled following the conference championship games to see which teams will play in which bowl games.
