FOX Sports host Skip Bayless praised Kevin Durant for his performance on Tuesday, and he got burned by the Brooklyn Nets star.

The Brooklyn Nets entered their game against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night completely shorthanded. Seven players, including James Harden and LaMarcus Aldridge, were placed in the NBA’s health and safety protocols, leaving the Nets with just eight available players for the contest.

Brooklyn went on to defeat Toronto 131-129 in overtime, thanks to a triple-double performance by star Kevin Durant. Hefty praise was heading Durant’s way on Twitter, including from FOX Sports host Skip Bayless.

Durant wanted none of that, and he immediately shut him down.

Durant wanted to let Bayless and all 19.4 million of his Twitter followers that he does not like him.

Bayless called Durant the “best player on the planet” in his tweet, citing that he led the shorthanded team to an overtime victory. But if you noticed at the end of Bayless’ Twitter message, he took his typical shot at Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.

Durant was stellar on Tuesday night, despite being listed as questionable due to right ankle soreness. The Nets star scored 34 points while shooting 12-for-29 from the field, dished out 11 assists and grabbed 13 rebounds (12 defensive). Durant put up all of those statistics while playing 48 minutes!

This was quite the follow-up performance by Durant, who dropped 51 points on the Detroit Pistons this past Sunday.

Bayless applauded Durant for his showing against the Raptors, and the Nets star responded by letting the “Undisputed” host know that he dislikes him.
