The Las Vegas Raiders were eliminated from the playoffs following their loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Here are three players who likely won’t return next season.

The Las Vegas Raiders overcame a lot throughout the 2021 season, and they managed to catch fire at the end of the season to clinch their first playoff berth since 2016. Unfortunately for the Raiders, their campaign came to an early end, as they fell 26-19 to the Cincinnati Bengals in the Wild Card Round.

With the season over, there is going to be tons of questions surrounding the organization, especially when it comes to who will be the head coach in 2022. Not only that, but there are 26 players set to be free agents entering the new league year. So, who will be done in Las Vegas?

Here are three players who likely won’t be back with the Raiders next season.

Peyton Barber, RB

There were plenty of gaffes and blunders for the Raiders in their Wild Card game. One of the earliest errors came in the first half, when running back Peyton Barber fielded a kickoff that was heading out of bounds, setting up Las Vegas on their own two-yard line. The Raiders almost surrendered a safety when Sam Hubbard sacked Derek Carr, but punted it away.

Barber signed a one-year contract with Las Vegas prior to the season, after spending the first five years of his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Football Team. He is now set to be a free agent.

In 10 games with the Raiders, Barber ran for 212 yards and two touchdowns on 55 carries. Additionally, he caught 10-of-13 passes for 67 yards.
