The big wave surfing phenom Kai Lenny is back again for the second season of his show “Life Of Kai.”

Last year when the world was on pause, Kai Lenny took the opportunity to find some big waves. Lenny is one of the world’s best big wave surfers. He created his documentary series “Life of Kai” to show the world the ups and downs of big wave surfing. The first season was such great success, that Lenny and company are back again for more. The first season showcased Lenny trying to capture a ride on the biggest waves in the world, in the second season he will be doing the same, and he begins at Nazare in Portugal.

“When you live in the moment, you can’t help but only feel happy. There’s no other emotion than just pure bliss and happiness. And you feel so good about yourself — you start thinking of yourself how you should always think of yourself, which is on the highest standard. For me, it takes riding some big waves to get to that point. But I think that is a huge draw to riding these big waves is, it makes me feel like the person I know I can be.”

When the show returns Lenny will have been spending his time in Hawaii where he lives. Like most of the world, traveling is a difficult thing to accomplish at the moment, so he has been laying low at home. Luckily for him, home is where the waves are. That is until Lenny gets a scoop that Nazare, Portugal, a place with some of the biggest waves ever, is going off. Lenny alongside his brother Ridge take off to Nazare in hopes of catching the big one.

“We’re bonded by blood. What closer relationship can you have with somebody? If I’m going to trust anybody, if he’s going to trust anybody, it’s going to be each other. That’s the cool thing about having your brother out there. They’re going to want to get you the best wave of your live, but they’re also going to want to keep you safe at the same time,” Ridge Lenny said of his relationship with his brother.

This show is an amazing look inside the world of big wave surfing. Lenny and his crew are riding some of the biggest waves in the world and wearing cameras to get the viewer a first-hand look at what exactly it means to be in those conditions. Still, to come in the season, the team will travel to Jaws, the biggest break in Hawaii with hopes of making history.
