Van Jefferson has the most epic flex in the form of the name of his child.

Super Bowl viewers might remember Jefferson’s wife was stretchered out of the Super Bowl, in labor, and he was later seen rushing off to the hospital after his team, The Los Angeles Rams, secured the win.

Now, the name of that child has been revealed and it’s perfectly fitting.

Van Jefferson’s baby name is fitting for a boy born on Super Bowl Sunday

“Champ Curtis Jefferson,” Van said on the “The Adam Schefter Podcast” this week. “That’s the name we got.”

The name of the baby, a boy, didn’t get made right away. According to TMZ, he also considered the names “Wynn” or “Miles” but finally settled on Champ.

“We just looked it up and ‘Champ’ is like a warrior,” Van said, “and my wife is a warrior.”

Unfortunately, due to terrible Super Bowl traffic, he had to watch the birth on FaceTime as he didn’t make it to the hospital in time … but his wife got a Range Rover for her efforts.
