MLS 2022: How do I watch games on TV this season?

The MLS season will officially kick off on Saturday, Feb. 26. Here’s what you need to know about how to watch games live on TV. 

The 2022 MLS regular season will be broadcast on a number of television networks, with a record 48 games that will air on network television on ABC, Fox, Univision and UniMas.

MLS games will air on ABC nine times this season with a total of 34 matches airing across ABC, ESPN and ESPN2. All those games will also be available in Spanish on ESPN Deportes.

FOX Sports will air 34 games this season: 27 on FS1 and seven on Fox. All 34 of those matches will air in Spanish on Fox Deportes.

Here are some key dates to watch for this MLS season

Opening Weekend: Feb. 26-27 

The league’s 27th season will kick off on Feb. 26, the earliest start to the season in league history.

Rivalry Week: July 8-17

Some of the biggest rivalries will be broadcast live.

MLS All-Star Game: Aug 10

The MLS All-Star Game will be broadcast on ESPN and UniMas at 8 pm ET.

Decision Day: Oct. 9

Games from each conference will kickoff simultaneously on the final day of the regular season.

MLS Cup Final: Nov. 5 
The league’s championship game will be contested following the MLS Cup Playoffs.
