Correa’s home run qualifies for the term ‘majestic’, so we’re going with that.

While Correa’s contract does put the Twins at risk of losing him after one season, Minnesota wasn’t in position to turn down even one year of one of the best shortstops in all of baseball. Suddenly, the Twins could be a dark horse in the AL Central, especially due to the injury issues the White Sox are dealing with to start the year.

Add in the unproven Detroit Tigers, and the seemingly downtrodden Guardians and Royals, and the Twins could have an argument when all is said and done.
