Real Madrid and Liverpool square off in the Champions League final on May 28 at the Stade the France in Paris. Here’s what you need to know before tuning in. 

The Champions League final is set and will feature two of Europe’s greatest clubs squaring off for the most prestigious club tournament on the planet.

Real Madrid will take on Liverpool on May 28 at the Stade de France in Paris in a match that will serve as the culmination of the European club season.

Real Madrid has won a record 13 European titles, most recently in 2018 when they defeated Liverpool in the final.

The Premier League club, meanwhile, has captured the European crown six times, most recently in 2019 in the all-English final against Tottenham.

Real have already won the La Liga title, while Liverpool is currently contesting Manchester City in the title race over in England. Liverpool also has a chance at four titles this season should they win the Premier League and UCL in the final weeks of the season.
