It was shaping up to be a quiet Friday night and then BAM, news broke that Fernando Tatis Jr. had been popped for Clostebol and suspended a whopping 80 games.
The man who many feel to be one of the best players in the MLB today might have an asterisk next to his stats for the rest of his life now.

Following the news the Padres released a statement, “We were surprised and extremely disappointed to learn today that Fernando Tatis Jr. tested positive for a performance-enhancing substance in violation of Major League Baseball’s Joint Prevention and Treatment Program and subsequently received an 80-game suspension without pay. We fully support the Program and are hopeful that Fernando will learn from this experience.”
