Packers bold predictions: 2. AJ Dillon will rush for over 100 yards

The Packers coaching staff is going to make sure Aaron Jones gets more touches this week than he did at Minnesota. That doesn’t change the reality that LaFleur and his staff will bludgeon the Bears with Dillon in the second half once they have a sizeable lead.

Dillon got 10 carries for 45 yards last week and he could easily see his attempts double against the Bears. If the former Boston College star gets somewhere between 20 and 25 carries on Sunday night he’s going to put up really good numbers.

A 100+ yard day for Dillon should be part of Green Bay’s plan coming into this one. He’s just the sort of physical, downhill runner who can help the Packers preserve a win down the stretch. Jones may notch a few big plays early to help the Packers build a working margin, but Dillon is going to be the bell cow in the second half.

To make this prediction come true Dillon might need to break one 20+ yard gain on the ground. That’s something well within his capabilities against the Chicago front. Dillon will go over the century mark on the ground and might even add a touchdown to make it a high-quality fantasy day.
