It’s Week 9 of the fantasy season, and with plenty of players on bye this week, these matchups can help you set your lineups in regular or daily leagues.

It’s crazy to think the fantasy season is already halfway over. As Week 9 approaches, everyone has a good idea of where their teams stand now and whether they’ll cruise into the playoffs, fight tooth and nail for a spot, or concede as one of the worst teams in the league. Regardless, these exploitable matchups will help this week.

Best matchups for fantasy football Week 9

5. Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars (vs. LV)

While Trevor Lawrence has been inconsistent both in real life and fantasy football, he’s been markedly better than his rookie season. This has led to solid fantasy outings for him that has made him a viable streamer at the position. Through eight games, he’s the QB10 on the year.

This week, Lawrence gets the reeling Las Vegas Raiders who just suffered a brutal defeat to the New Orleans Saints 24-0. This is looking like a lost season for the Raiders, whose defense allows the most fantasy points to quarterbacks this year. Expect Lawrence to continue to pile on to a dumpster fire Raiders team.
