Astros radio call of final out to win World Series is the new soundtrack of Houston.

The Houston Astros are World Series champions again.

This time, there’s no controversy.

On Saturday, in Game 6, the Astros defeated the Phillies 4-1 to secure the win and win back the hearts of much of baseball following their cheating scandal.

In the top of the sixth inning, things looked like they might be turning in favor of Philadelphia after a solo home run. But Houston quickly answered the bell with a four-run bottom of the inning headlined by a towering blast off the bat of Yordan Alvarez.

The Houston bullpen then held off any kind of Phillies rally, but it was the final out made by Trey Mancini, a newcomer at the trade deadline, that sealed the deal. But even better than just the 27th out of the game to clinch a championship was what fans could’ve heard on the airwaves.

For Astros fans, the radio call of the moment will be burned into their memory for years to come.

For Phillies fans, that moment isn’t going to be as awesome but will instead haunt them until Philadelphia wins it someday.

That’s just pain personified on that radio call. Tough scenes in the City of Brotherly Love. But this team has a ton to be proud of, coming from being a Wild Card team to making the World Series and giving Houston all they could handle.

What’s more, just like the Astros, this undoubtedly isn’t the last that we’ll see of the Phillies with the roster they have. So it might hurt now, but the future remains bright.
