The month-long FIFA World Cup soccer tournament will take place in Qatar starting on Sunday, Nov. 20. Here’s what you need to know about how to watch the games live.

The 32-nation World Cup kicks off on Nov. 20 when hosts Qatar take on Ecuador in the opener at Al Bayt Stadium in the city of Al Khor. The tournament will conclude a month later on Dec. 18 with the final at Khalifa International Stadium in Doha.

The quadrennial tournament will be one of many firsts. It is the first time that it will take place in the Middle East. It is also the first time that it will take place in the winter rather than summer. FIFA made the switch, which will disrupt the European domestic club season, since temperatures in Qatar are too hot during the summer.

All 64 World Cup games will air in the United States across various platforms. The games can be seen on FOX and Fox Sports 1, the tournament’s official English-language broadcast partner. Telemundo will provide Spanish-language coverage.

Former USMNT star defender Alexi Lalas will serve as lead studio analyst during FOX’s coverage, along with fellow U.S. soccer legends Clint Dempsey, Carli Lloyd and Maurice Edu. Games will include a pre-game show and post-match analysis.

The United States is back at the World Cup after failing to qualify in 2018. The USMNT are in Group B along with England, Wales and Iran.
