Morocco tangles with Portugal on Saturday, Dec. 10 in the World Cup quarterfinals at at Al Thumama Stadium in Doha, Qatar. Here’s how to watch. 

Cinderella side Morocco will hope their fairytale World Cup run continues Saturday when they take on Portugal in the quarterfinals.

Morocco, who has played at the World Cup six times, has reached the quarterfinals for the first time in history. They are the only African nation left in the World Cup quarterfinals, which features five from Europe and two from South America.

With a victory, Morocco has a chance to make history by becoming the first African nation to reach the World Cup semifinals.

The Atlas Lions outlasted Spain in the round of 16 on penalties after holding them to a scoreless draw after extra time. Portugal, with Cristiano Ronaldo starting on the bench, routed Switzerland 6-1 to reach the quarterfinals.

Portugal’s Goncalo Ramos netted a hat trick and Rafael Leao added a beautiful goal in stoppage time to cap off the victory.

Morocco and Portugal have played one another just twice ever. Both those meetings took place at a World Cup. In 1986, Morocco defeated Portugal 3-1 to advance to the round of 16. Four years ago, a Ronaldo goal lifted Portugal to a 1-0 win during the group stage.
