A trade to reunite Aaron Rodgers with ‘best receiver in the league’ Davante Adams

The Green Bay Packers and Las Vegas Raiders could link up this offseason for a trade to reunite Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams, should they wish.
Am I calling a trade between the Packers and Raiders likely in this sense? No.
However, in our Madden Franchise mode of a football mind, Rodgers is reaching the end of his career, and the Raiders could need a quarterback in 2023.
Derek Carr is nearing the end of his leash with Vegas. The Raiders have an opt-out in Carr’s deal after this season, and they could very well use it. If that happens, expect Vegas to be in on the quarterback market. That could come via trade, the draft or even the limited options in free agency.
Las Vegas was a rumored destination for Aaron Rodgers at times last offseason, but a deal never came to fruition. After what’s been a tough season in Green Bay (5-8 at the moment), a Rodgers move to sin city might make some sense.
This is especially true after some recent comments from Rodgers reminded us just how much he adores Davante Adams.

What would a Packers-Raiders trade for Aaron Rodgers look like?
A trade between these two sides has been speculated upon for quite some time. Last offseason, it would’ve cost at least three first-round picks to bring a back-to-back MVP to Vegas.
Next offseason is a different story. The more Rodgers talks, the more obvious it becomes that he’s close to hanging up his cleats. Rodgers has had a good season, but he’s taken a step back, and that much is clear.
Still, trading for any well-established, Pro Bowl-level QB is going to cost a team like the Raiders.
Any deal will likely be far more complicated than this, but the point remains that Rodgers price tag has gone down a bit. Vegas can afford him, though, with two firsts and a third.
The Packers, in this scenario, will move on to the Jordan Love era. Love has looked productive in several outings this season, and in practice, leaving some to wonder if Green Bay would be better off giving Love and opportunity should the Packers fall out of playoff contention.
