Bellator 290: Ryan Bader vs. Fedor Emelianenko is this Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, on CBS.

The biggest heavyweight rematch of all time in Bellator history is upon us, as defending heavyweight champion Ryan Bader takes on the undisputed heavyweight legend, Fedor Emelianenko at Bellator 290, in what will be Emelianenko’s last pro fight in mixed martial arts. The man dubbed the last emperor will not seek another fight, not even if he defeats Bader and wins the Bellator heavyweight title in the process.

It’s among the biggest fights the brand has ever hosted and it will headline the card on Feb. 4, at 9 PM on CBS, but it isn’t the only big fight. The main card is three fights deep, and the co-main event is a middleweight title fight, as Johnny Eblen takes on Anatoly Tokov, a member of Emelianenko’s Fedor Team fight team.

While the prelims will feature Nieman Gracie, Lorenz Larkin, Henry Corrales, and Karl Albrektsson, it will be the comeback fighter himself, Brennan Ward, taking on Sabah Homasi to open up the card on CBS. Ward missed five years of his career due to drug abuse and jail time, but returned to the Bellator cage in February of 2022, and has become a must-watch fighter in his two fights back.
