UFC 285: Jon Jones vs. Ciryl Gane fight card, live stream, TV info and more.

The UFC is ready to crown its new heavyweight champion on Saturday, March 4, and what an incredible fight that’s been set up for the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

After three years without competing, Jon Jones (26-1, 1 NC) will finally make his highly anticipated heavyweight debut when he faces former UFC interim heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane (11-1). Of course, many fans would have preferred for Jones’ debut to be against former, and in many fans’ eyes still the reigning champion Francis Ngannou, who left the UFC following a heated contract dispute that led to his release and loss of his crown. However, talk to any MMA fan and they will gladly tell you about this huge clash.

Not only will we finally get to see what Jones looks like as a heavyweight after ruling over light heavyweight for almost a decade but all the questions we had after his fight with Dominick Reyes will finally be answered. Is he getting old? Is his time at the top over? Or will he prove us all wrong, win the title, and become the undisputed MMA GOAT?

We also can’t overlook his opponent. Gane has faced some of the toughest heavyweights in the world and beaten them all bar Ngannou. He’s also proven to possibly be the most technical striker the division has ever seen and will be the biggest opponent Jones has ever faced.

If that doesn’t get you hyped, how about the co-main event, where Valentina Shevchenko (23-3) looks to defend her flyweight title for an eighth consecutive time against a new contender in Alexa Grasso (15-3).

Either way, it is almost impossible for UFC 285 to not deliver.
