The Denver Broncos seem to have the celebrity corner on their side for this Sunday’s Super Bowl.

A few days back, rapper Lil’ Wayne said he is rooting for Peyton Manning and expects the Denver Broncos to win the big game. Golfer Tiger Woods feels the same.

Woods, who is in Dubai after a painful outing at Torrey Pines (one of his best courses, historically) gave his thoughts on Super Bowl XLVIII and cited his friendship with Manning as to why he wants the Broncos to defeat the Seattle Seahawks.

"“I like the Broncos. I’m good friends with Peyton (Manning),” he said. “Let’s be honest, he got scrutinized pretty hard when he left (the Colts) that he would never be the same after his neck surgery, and it’s right, he’s not the same; he’s better. That’s cool to see. That’s cool to see the hard work that he put in to shut everybody up.”"

Woods, of course, is a noted Oakland Raiders fan so it’s possible he’s pulling for a fellow divisional rival – or – the more likely scenario? He’s just trying to appease his girlfriend, former Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn who is a die-hard Denver Broncos fan.
