The sale of the Buffalo Bills has brought out some high-profile suitors, and one of them is rock legend Jon Bon Jovi. However, the main concern with Bon Jovi winning the bidding among Bills fans is the potential move of the team north to Canada.

More from Buffalo Bills

Well recently, Bon Jovi penned an open letter to Bills fans, expressing that he will not be moving the team out of Buffalo, should he become the new owner of the franchise.

“Our objective is simple: to carry on the legacy of Ralph Wilson and make the Bills successful in Buffalo,” Bon Jovi wrote in Sunday’s edition of The Buffalo News.

“We are committed to working with the State, City, County and business community to identify the best possible site in the Buffalo area for a new stadium and to then develop and implement a plan to finance and build a state-of-the-art NFL stadium for the loyal Bills fans.”

He then got a little more passionate is how vow to keep the fans happy.

“I know how much the Bills mean to the people of this region,” Bon Jovi wrote. “So I want you to hear this from me: I’m not risking it all to let you down. If we are given the chance to be the next owners of the Buffalo Bills, I promise you that we will bring the same passion that you do every Sunday, every day.”

The problem that a lot of folks see with Bon Jovi becoming the owner is that his principle investors are from Toronto, which leads folks to believe that the writing is on the wall for a potential relocation.
