Darren Sproles rips off huge gain to set up tying touchdown (GIF)

Most people expected a shootout on Monday Night Football this week as the Philadelphia Eagles squared off with the Indianapolis Colts. It took a little while for the game to unfold that way, but as the fourth quarter rushed towards crunch-time, this game was the high-scoring affair that many expected it would be.

The barrage of points in the second half of this game have come thanks in large part to the fact that the Eagles’ offense has finally heated things up. With quarterback Nick Foles struggling for much of this game, the Eagles turned to their running backs to get things going.
As he often does, LeSean McCoy has come up with a number of big plays and fancy runs. But the real hero in this game has been Darren Sproles.
With over 200 yards of offense and a gritty touchdown to boot, Sproles delivered this long gain on a screen pass to set up the tying touchdown that made the score 27-27.
