The Cincinnati Bengals are going to see the return of franchise wide receiver AJ Green to the field today, but, his workload will be determined by how the game goes.

After missing the last three games this year with strained ligaments in his right foot, Cincinnati Bengals‘ wideout A.J. Green will finally see a return to play today against the Jacksonville Jaguars. This is terrific news for a Bengals team that are just barely holding on to the top spot in the AFC North with a record of 4-2-1. Green being back puts an immediate strain on the opposing secondary.

More from Baltimore Ravens

The question is, how much will he play? Well, the Bengals have said that depends on how the game goes. The more they need him, the more they’ll use him. This means it’s really important for Cinci to jump on the Jags early and not push the issue with A.J. Green’s foot. They’ll most certainly need him down the line if they want to have a strong finish.

"“Green could get 30 snaps on offense, he could get more,” as reported by SB Nation. “If/when the game is in hand, the strong inclination will be to put him on the sideline and save him for Cleveland.”"

With the Baltimore Ravens hot on their trail in the standings at 5-3, Cincinnati will need to handle business today. A.J. Green is a top five receiver and a weapon for this Bengals offense. We’ll find out today how often they’ll need to pull him out of the holster.
