As a professional athlete there aren’t many situations worse than finding yourself face-to-groin with another players crotch.
Sadly for Los Angeles Lakers superstar and NBA icon, Kobe Bryant, that’s exactly what took place on Sunday afternoon.
With the Black Mamba attempting to keep the Lakers tilt against the Toronto Raptors from going to overtime, Kobe Bryant fell to the ground under Los Angeles’ basket. Unable to control his momentum, Toronto point guard Kyle Lowry ran into the back of Bryant and just so happened to “teabag” the All-Star.
For what it’s worth, Kobe Bryant didn’t seem overly offended and Lowry continued on his way as if nothing happened, though Kobe’s former teammate Rick Fox who currently works in broadcasting seemed to enjoy the odd moment far more than he should have.
As the Los Angeles Lakers broadcast was heading to commercial, Fox who was doing studio work couldn’t help but laugh at Bryant getting “Lowry’s nuts all over him”.
Now, was this really that funny? I’m sure it’s a moment both Kobe Bryant and Kyle Lowry would soon prefer to forget. Perhaps Rick Fox knows something about Kobe Bryant that we don’t considering they shared a locker room for a half decade. Maybe Fox himself used to run around naked and teabag his teammates which is why he found this so funny.
Crap. I need to vomit now. Be right back.
