Aaron Hernandez Due For Pre-Trial Hearing
By Cory Buck
Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is due back in court on Friday for a pre-trial hearing in relation to one of several murder changes pending against him.
The Associated Press reports that Aaron Hernandez will attend a pre-trial hearing on Friday in relation to the first of two murder charges levied against him. One of his contentions in that hearing will reportedly be that the prosecution may not introduce evidence against Hernandez from other pending murder charges.

You know you’re in a sticky situation when you have to clarify which murder you’re being tried for and you have to remain vigilant so as to avoid overlap. It’s a wonder Hernandez can keep his stories straight, which is more than we can say for his fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins, who was charged with perjury in connection with her grand jury testimony.
Hernandez has been in jail without bail since June 2013, charged with first-degree murder and other weapons charges after the death of semi-professional football player Odin Lloyd, who dated the sister of Hernandez’s fiancée.
The Lloyd case will commence on January 5th, and among those witnesses expected to testify are New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick and owner Robert Kraft.
