A four-star college football recruit from Georgia announced his top three schools using the ‘Elf Yourself’ app

Four-star defensive end De’Andre Walker used one of social medias weirdest apps, Elf Yourself, to announce his top three schools.

Walker, then, shared the video through twitter to let the world know and then it went viral.

It appears from the video Walker will be taking his talents to either the University of Georgia, Auburn University, or the University of Tennessee next fall.

Here is the video in its entirety:

Although it’s a little quirky, I do like the idea of recruits getting creative when announcing schools. It’s like the new trend of asking someone to prom by some grand gesture. It gives the players a different way of expressing themselves other than the put-your-new-school’s-hat-on routine. That’s a little old.

Imagine if LeBron James was making Elf Yourself videos to announce what teams he was going to sign with, instead of “The Decision” and “The Essay.” The internet would explode!

Hopefully, Elf Yourself videos don’t become the new way for recruits to announce their decisions, but props for Walker for getting creative.
