Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans took a trip to Toys’R’Us to give out some toys to kids and played a little pickup basketball on a hoop half of Davis’ size

Anthony Davis and some of his Pelicans teammates took 75 kids from New Orleans on a Christmas shopping spree at Toy’R’Us, and then they broke out the mini-basketball hoop, according to Bleacher Report.

Luckily, someone brought a camera along with them and captured Davis and his teammates playing ball with the kids.

Davis showed the kids no mercy, dunking on them and blocking their shots, like he was… Anthony Davis, I guess.

The 21-year-old NBA star also opened up about why he likes to give back to the community and why he’s still a kid at heart.

“I’m a big kid,” Davis said.

Based on that interview and Davis’ interaction with the kids, you can tell he just loves to play and have fun. That’s also translates to how Davis plays in the NBA. You can tell he enjoys himself on the court as much as anyone in basketball, and it’s good to see that fun-loving attitude off the basketball court making someone else’s life better.

After all those blocks and dunks on those kids, I’m starting to think Kendrick Perkins shouldn’t feel so bad.
