Record vs. Bowl Teams: 4-5
Common Opponents:
NONE
Prediction:
Miami is much better than they were in September, and that has everything to do with the maturation of true freshman QB Brad Kaaya. The only games that he really didn’t play well in were Louisville and Pittsburgh. Both of those teams have really good defenses.
South Carolina’s defense was supposed to be a strength. We quickly found out that that was not the case when Texas A&M lit them up in the opener. It didn’t stop there. They were gashed by Georgia, Kentucky, Auburn, Tennessee, and Clemson as well.
It will come down to whether South Carolina can force Kaaya and the Hurricane offense into bad decisions. Seeing what I saw from South Carolina, I just don’t see it happening.
Pick: Miami(FL)
