I am back to give you all of the bowl picks against the spread. This year, I am going to do each bowl individually so you have all of the information you need to make your wager or pick, whatever the case may be.

Just in case you missed anything:

Bitcoin St. Petersburg Bowl at St. Petersburg, FL:

North Carolina State:

Wins: vs. Georgia Southern(24-23), vs. Old Dominion(46-34), at South Florida(49-17), vs. Presbyterian(42-0), at Syracuse(24-17), vs. Wake Forest(42-13). at North Carolina(35-7)

Losses: vs. Florida State(41-56), at Clemson(0-41), vs. Boston College(14-30), at Louisville(18-30), vs. Georgia Tech(23-56)

Record vs. Bowl Teams: 1-5

Central  Florida(-2.5):

Wins: vs. Bethune-Cookman(41-7), at Houston(17-12), vs. BYU(31-24 OT), vs. Tulane(20-13), vs. Temple(34-14), vs. Tulsa(31-7), vs. SMU(53-7), at South Florida(16-0), at East Carolina(32-30)

Losses: vs. Penn State(24-26), at Missouri(10-38), at Connecticut(29-37)

Record vs. Bowl Teams: 3-2

Common Opponents:

South Florida: NC State beat the Bulls by 32 in Tampa. UCF beat the Bulls by 16, also in Tampa. Advantage: NC State.

Prediction:

North Carolina State had some defensive issues, especially early in the season. They are a young team, and showed the kind of talent they have in the way they played in the first half against Florida State, and the way they dominated in-state rival North Carolina.

UCF’s offense is only there to give them enough points to let the defense take over. They only allowed 30 or more points three times this season, and once was to offensive juggernaut East Carolina.

The bottom line is that neither team has been very consistent this year. Still, this may as well be a home game for UCF since Orlando is only about an hour from Tampa. I trust UCF a little more than North Carolina State. The fact that it is in St. Petersburg just makes the pick a little easier.

Pick: Central Florida
