Rookie Wide Receiver Amari Cooper scores a crucial touchdown in the 2nd Quarter of a duel with the Pittsburgh Steelers

Gee whiz! Look how open Amari Cooper managed to get in this play. There were no cornerbacks or safeties anywhere on that side of the field! Cooper now has four touchdowns this season with 38 receptions for 565 yards and a 14.9 yard average. He is well and truly in the running for the Rookie of the Year Award with the likes of Todd Gurley and Stefon Diggs if he manages to keep this up.

Veterans and youngsters alike have transformed the fortunes of the Oakland Raiders as they currently possess a 4-3 record and are comfortably in second place in the AFC West. Although it is unlikely they will catch up with the Denver Broncos, they are in prime position for a wild card spot in the AFC … especially with a fairly manageable schedule in the second half of the season. Derek Carr, Amari Cooper, Michael Crabtree, Khalil Mack and Charles Woodson are all igniting this silver and black turnaround and maybe (just maybe) a playoff birth for the first time in 13 years. Don’t want to jinx it but these guys seriously mean business. Anything is possible in the NFL.
