Brazilian legend Ronaldinho has recently been linked with a move to either Major League Soccer or Dubai, and while in Los Angeles he confessed his love for the United States.

Major League Soccer has been able to attract some of the game’s biggest names in recent years. With the likes of Sebastian Giovinco, Andrea Pirlo, Didier Drogba, Kaka, David Villa, Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard, and Giovani dos Santos, all making the move across the pond to ply their trade in MLS, the league has been able to increasingly garner international attention.

While in Los Angeles recently, Ronaldinho, admitted he has witnessed the league grow, and that it has become an intriguing option for him.

"“It’s a league that’s growing, and the United States is a country I love,”`he said. “It motivates every single player in the world to want to come here because everyone wants to be where the best players are,”"

According to various reports earlier in the month, the 35-year-old was considering a move to either MLS or Dubai. Ronaldinho has played across the globe for some of the planet’s biggest clubs, including for the likes of Gremio, Flamengo, Atletico Mineiro. Paris St-Germain, Barcelona, and Milan. However, he has never played in the Middle East or in the United States. Both options would represent a new adventure for the man who has seemingly done it all in the beautiful game.

"“When you hear this coming from one of the biggest names in soccer, it also gives you the desire to come here,” Ronaldinho said. “… As I said before, today I’m here doing other things, but who knows what can happen in the future.”"

Fans in the United States have to be encouraged by Ronaldinho’s fondness of the country, and his willingness to leave the door open about a possible to move to MLS. Only time will tell whether the Brazilian legend will ultimately end up in the league, but there will certainly be no shortage of teams lining up to secure his services if he does.
