Tom Thibodeau seems to be very old school. You know, a guy who doesn’t bother with fancy technology like computers and cell phones and calculators and stuff. While he normally is able to get away without using that newfangled stuff, being in a foreign country like Brazil means being without things like your own car. Thankfully, Thibodeau is perfectly comfortable riding around on public transit.

Really, outside of wearing and holding his Team USA basketball garb, Thibodeau looks like he

belongs on the train, which kind of makes sense. Remember, Thibodeau spent eight years coaching in New York, so one would assume that he has been on a train plenty. After all, back in those days Uber didn’t exist and it has never made sense to own a car if you live in New York. Most importantly, assistant coaches don’t really get recognized, so Thibodeau was just another guy heading to work at that point.

The real question becomes will Thibodeau ride trains in Minnesota? According to the Target Center website, you can take a train to one block from the arena. While it is possible, Thibodeau will defiantly get recognized those trains. So it really just comes down to, does he care?
