It’s important to note that not only does Kevin Durant say with a completely straight face that Jimmy Butler is an idiot, he also actively seeks him out so that he can call Jimmy an idiot on camera. Kevin Durant declares that Jimmy is an idiot, he needs Jimmy to know, and he needed everyone else in the world to know that Jimmy knows. What a hater.

Some people were a bit kinder in their assessments of Jimmy’s football talents. DeAndre Jordan likes his route running, but he still doesn’t give Jimmy a shot. Draymond comes just hort of insulting Jimmy to his face.
Given the only football footage we’ve seen from Mr. Butler during these Olympics has him being burned by Klay Thompson, it’s a bit of a jump to say he could be a star on the same level as Antonio Brown. But it’s worth noting, that he’s not going out to be a DB.

All in all, I think it’s safe to say that Jimmy Butler is the best football player alive. I’d like to be the first to congratulate him on his forthcoming multi-year contract with the Chicago Bears.
