Pokemon Sun and Moon evolved forms revealed (Video)

Check out a brand new video that focuses on the evolved forms for the starter Pokemon you’ll be able to choose from in Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon.

With Pokemon Sun and  Pokemon Moon right around the corner, it feels like we get some new details every day about the upcoming game. Since the Pokemon series is extremely popular, we can expect even more greatness from this game, which is promising a lot of new gameplay features that are fresh takes for the series.

Although its popularity has drastically fallen, a lot of credit also has to be given to Pokemon GO, which was a smashing success when it was first released and reminded many people just how great Pokemon is.

On Tuesday, a variety of new details based on the game were revealed, including new features on the Festival Plaza, which will connect players with others playing near them and over the internet so they can battle, work together and trade.

Another interesting new feature is Poke Pelago, which lets Pokemon stored in a PC Box develop by exploring islands and tackling activities and challenges.

There are  also a few new details on Mega Evolutions, but the biggest news is the reveal of the evolved forms for the starter Pokemon. To get a better look at it all, check out the new video below:

The names for the evolved forms for the three starter Pokemon are Dartrix (Rowlet), Torracat (Litten), and Brionne (Popplio).

Dartrix is a Grass-Flying type who attacks by throwing knife-edged feathers and it possesses extremely sharp senses. With these senses, it can detect opponents behind it can can throw feathers to strike them without even seeing them.

Torracat is a Fire type Pokemon. It produces flames for its attacks from a bell-like sac attached at the base of its throat. Torracat has a great love for battle and will attack relentlessly. Its mane can sense what is going on around it, even in the dark, and is able to detect the presence of hidden enemies.

Brionne is a Water type Pokemon. It can dance in perfect time with others and is always cheery and positive. A very hard worker, Brionne learns dances by imitating other members of its colony and can sometimes even learn dances from humans. It creates balloons and slaps them into its target, making them explode and deal damage to it opponents.

Touching more on the Mega Evolutions, the Pokemon that were able to Mega Evolve in previous titles will also be able to in Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. The Mega Stones for Pokemon with the capability to Mega Evolve that appear in the Alola region may be received from characters in the game or obtained from special shops.
