The new Mass Effect: Andromeda preorder trailer gives us a glimpse at multiplayer, which is very exciting.

In a little over a month, the highly anticipated fourth installment in the Mass Effect series, Mass Effect: Andromeda, will be released. This game is looking to deliver the same gameplay experiences the fans love. But, there are some new gameplay elements to look forward to, including multiplayer.

In the new preorder trailer for the game, you don’t see much of anything. It’s only 28 seconds long and it focuses on some bonuses players will receive with a preorder. However, you do get a short glimpse at the multiplayer, and that’s awesome.

In past games in the series, the main focus was on the single-player and the story. In all honesty, with a game like this, that would be perfectly fine. This game thrives with its story because of the choices you make. These choices affect the outcome of what happens next, which is always interesting.

But, in Andromeda, it seems like a full multiplayer mode is integrated. The game has a huge world, so partying up with other people to do missions or even battle each other sounds like a ton of fun.

Check it out below:

So, we do know there’s a multiplayer mode. We just don’t know much about it just yet. We know that the single-player and the multiplayer are connected.

What we expect is the armor and weapons that we obtain will also be used for multiplayer purposes. This is where it gets tricky, though. Will it force us to play a ton of hours just so that we can stay up to date with the competition? There’s also a possibility that this cancels out in PvP and it just looks cool to use it.
