LaVar Ball officially has to put his foot in his mouth

LaVar Ball has done a whole lot of talking since Lonzo Ball shot up draft boards. A likely lotto pick, the father of Lonzo has used the fame of his son as a vehicle to his own notoriety. This has involved shots at current NBA players, former NBA legends, and talking the ear off of any media outlet that will listen to him. With Ball talking so much it was bound to catch up to him eventually. This type of stuff doesn’t sit well with most people and, now that Kentucky has defeated UCLA, the blowback to Ball’s media tour has been fierce.

Twitter in particular had a field day with him throughout the night.

You’re right, Tony Allen. The memes were in the chamber. Let the trolling of LaVar Ball commence!

Most people decided to go back and remember when Ball proclaimed on national TV that UCLA would win the NCAA Championship. This was before Ball had reached peak notoriety, but it’s probably the moment that most can point to when the insanity with him began. So, now that UCLA has failed to even reach the Final Four what did Twitter have to say? Jokes. Lots of jokes.

Oh but it went further. Ball has been talking for months now and some of Twitter decided to target in on those outlandish claims.

(That’s true by the way as of this writing)

Other tweets were focused on Ball’s infatuation with using his son as a vehicle towards his own notoriety.

A few are currently waiting on the “I should have coached UCLA” excuse that is 100 percent one of the five excuses he will use at some point.

And then a couple people just went for memes.

No word from Ball yet, but surely his foot has been firmly planted in his mouth at this point.
